Schoeller Day

Long-standing family tradition meets Hanseatic charm: RECCON is greatly pleased to have made the 30th Schoellertag possible for the first time. For the 200 family members from around the world, Hamburg was in all its glory. After a great weekend full of unforgettable memories, guests traveled back home in high spirits.

The Schoeller family comes together every three years for their Schoeller Family Day. The togetherness, the chance to see other relatives and the tradition of the family are the main focus here. This year, the Hamburg shipowner and entrepreneur Heinrich Schoeller was the hosting family member and the choice was made for the native north.

The weekend began in a personal atmosphere on Friday night in the Hamburg Elbspeicher. Culinary delicacies, as well as the views of the harbor, provided the perfect environment for the grand reunion of all relatives and friends. The Queen Mary 2 sailed by and said hello; ensuring excellent souvenir pictures. After a relaxed get-together, the second day started with a harbor cruise on the MS Hanseatic. Between labskaus and the Elbe Philharmonic Hall, the Family Board held its General Assembly and was able to enjoy the abundance of sunrays on deck.

In the evening, the family came together for a festive highlight at the Hotel Atlantic Kempinski. A four-course menu, the beautifully made-up ballroom, and the band that followed were the guarantee for an wonderful atmosphere. The dance floor was swinging until late into the night.

On Sunday, all met for a cozy brunch on the Alster Ship Galatea and concluded the family weekend together. Overlooking the Inner Alster, this special and memorable Schoellertag came to an end in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg!
